May 30th, 3pm – Frensham Pond Hotel

Saturday 30th May we celebrated Lorna’s birthday in style.

Manda collected Lorna from the home and brought her back to the Frensham Pond Hotel for, what she thought, was just an afternoon tea with close family.  Instead she was treated to a nice surprise as Manda had also invited several other guests….

Lorna’s close friend Irene and her sister, Beryl, niece Angela and Jean and John, Chris’ parents.

Needless to say Zoe, Chris, Reuben and Josh came to.  Steve and Shaun were there too.

The hotel put on a good spread, plenty of sandwiches and scones and cakes.  They underestimated though how many cups of tea everyone could drink!  They had to do at least two return trips with teapots.

The room we were in overlooked the west end of Frensham pond and as the sun was out it made for a very pleasant setting indeed.

 After tea, sandwiches and cake we all went outside into the sun for a photo session……
